Jenn is the co-founder of this wiki. She was around for the founding of davisDavis Wiki and is amazed at how much it has grown. She was truly spoiled by it. So upon moving to Walnut Creek, she found herself at a loss. What to do without an awesome wiki? She founded this one (and then Philip told her that one already existed...but we worked it out) along with Nathan Jensen Horne. Jenn only hopes that the wcwiki will be half as good as dwiki.

Jenn was born in Southern California, but she lived most of her life in Indiana. Upon graduating high school, she fled the state and moved to Davis, where she earned a BA in Communication and Asian American Studies. After 5 years there, she felt a need to escape.

So she lives in Walnut Creek and wants YOU to contribute to the wiki (and she doesn't care how big or small your contributions are). The WC wiki is just starting out, so please please PLEASE help add some content!

If you need to get a hold of Jenn, you can email her at jnsuzuki AT gmail DOT com.

Hey Jenn, did you see [wcwiki]wcwiki? I can put you in contact with the admin (wikispotNathan Jensen Horne), too. You might wanna just work on that wiki instead? Or — actually — because this wiki has a better shortname ("walnutcreek" is better than "wcwiki" because "wcwiki" has the redundant "wiki" in it), maybe just build up this wiki and grab the few [wcwiki]pages that were made on the other wiki and move them over here (I think this is a better idea just because of the shortname ;). You can talk with Nathan about helping out w/admin stuff and getting the domain name set up. —PhilipNeustrom

2007-09-11 14:22:29   ..Because I couldn't find your email address (you oughtta post it here!), here's an email I sent Nathan:

Hey Nathan,

I just wanted to give you a heads-up that Jenn Suzuki is interested in working on a walnutcreek wiki, too. She didn't see your wiki and created one by the name of "walnutcreek" (yours has the short name "wcwiki"). Because the "wcwiki" wiki only has a couple pages, and "walnutcreek" will probably turn out to be a more convenient short-name (see the notes on using "wiki" in the name on [WWW]http://wikispot.org/Create_a_wiki), I suggested to her that we move over the content of the existing "wcwiki" to the "walnutcreek" wiki and add you as an admin on the wiki as well.

Hopefully this makes some sense.. :) Are you the owner of the wcwiki.org domain name? If so, we're going to have instructions up soon that'll explain how to set it up using your domain provider (TerraNet).

Best!
Philip Neustrom
